Shelf A / Batch 2026

How to use it

  1. Pick a barcode format: Code 128, EAN-13, UPC, or a QR code payload.
  2. Enter the barcode value and an optional label note such as a shelf or batch reference.
  3. Confirm the value fits the chosen format — EAN-13 and UPC accept only numeric product codes of the right length.
  4. Check the preview, then download the image or SVG, or print the label.

Questions

Which barcode format should I choose?
Code 128 handles letters and numbers, so it suits internal IDs and asset tags. EAN-13 and UPC are numeric retail product codes, and the QR payload suits URLs or longer text.
Why is my EAN-13 barcode not rendering?
EAN-13 expects a numeric product code of the correct length with a valid check digit. If your value does not fit the format, correct the digits or switch to Code 128.
Is the barcode value sent to a server?
No. Barcode generation runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
How many digits do EAN-13 and UPC-A need?
EAN-13 has 13 digits and UPC-A has 12, and in both the last digit is a check digit calculated from the others. Numbers for retail products are assigned through GS1, so do not invent them for goods you sell through retailers.
