Business credit risk worksheet with DSCR

The debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) is the cash a business generates divided by the loan repayments it must make; below 1 means it cannot cover them from operations.

Calculate DSCR and debt-to-income for a business loan and score risk from vintage, industry, repayment history and collateral. Runs in your browser.

Questions

Is this a real credit score or lending decision?
No. It is a planning worksheet built from the numbers you enter, not a bureau score, an underwriting model, or lending advice. Lenders apply their own criteria and data.
How is the DSCR calculated?
Net profit, taken as annual turnover times the profit margin, is divided by the estimated annual debt service including payments on the proposed loan, and shown as the post-loan DSCR.
What DSCR do lenders look for?
A DSCR above 1 means operating profit covers the repayments; below 1 means it does not. Many lenders look for a cushion above 1, but the threshold varies by lender, sector, and loan type, so ask the lender for theirs.
Does the worksheet use AI?
No. The score is calculated with fixed, visible rules from your inputs: DSCR, debt-to-income, business age, industry risk, payment history, collateral coverage, and customer concentration. The factor table shows how each one contributed.
Are my financial details uploaded anywhere?
No. The scoring runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
